Evangelical Leaders Representing a Quarter Billion Friends of Zion Worldwide Unite on Anniversary of the October 7 Massacre

JERUSALEM, Oct. 7, 2025 — Evangelical leaders representing more than a quarter of a billion Christians worldwide have united to mark the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks on Israel.

At the invitation of Dr. Mike Evans, founder of the Friends of Zion Heritage Center and Nobel Peace Prize nominee, pastors and ministry leaders from across the globe recorded and shared messages of solidarity with Israel — condemning the rise of antisemitism and reaffirming their long-term commitment to stand with the Jewish state.

Pastor Jack Graham, Pastor of Prestonwood Baptist spoke to his congregation last Sunday, sharing what they have already done to help the Israel people and praying in solidarity for the country. His video message is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WMN_cDJBFU

These leaders delivered messages of hope and strength to the people of Israel, expressing admiration for the nation’s resilience and faith amid ongoing challenges. A special time of prayer will be held this Sunday at churches around the world for the families of victims, the hostages, and the soldiers defending the country. Participants also pledged to intensify efforts to combat antisemitism globally, especially across the Middle East and beyond.

We cannot be silent while evil rages,” said Dr. Evans, founder of FOZ, the Jerusalem Prayer Team, and visionary behind the Ambassadors for Israel Summit. “The pulpit must speak louder than the propaganda. We are calling on pastors across America to lift their voices — against violence and antisemitism, and in biblical support of Israel.”

In observance of the anniversary, Dr. Evans urged U.S. pastors to pray for Israel during Sunday services on October 12 and to record their own video messages of support.
