Ministry Invites Believers to Help Create a Lasting Impact in the Lives of Young Iranians

Iran Alive Ministries Dedicates Year-End Donations to Empower the Next Generation of Christians in Iran

MCKINNEY, Texas, November 28, 2023 — As the people of Iran continue to face significant turmoil and uncertainty, Iran Alive Ministries believes the next generation of Iranians hold the potential to shape the future of their country. The Iranian youth’s rejection of Islam and search for hope has illuminated a clear priority for the US-based ministry and prompted a dedicated year-end giving campaign to “Empower the Christian Legacy.”

“Iranian youth have seen the true nature of Islam and their values do not align with it,” said founder of Iran Alive Ministries, Dr. Hormoz Shariat. “We believe these young Iranians are purposefully positioned for ‘such a time as this.’ We know this to be true because despite challenges, the church in Iran keeps growing. At its core, the belief is simple — Jesus changes everything.”

Iran Alive, through this campaign, hopes support young Iranian Christians, giving them the tools they need can kickstart a gospel movement that spreads through families, friendships, communities, local governance and beyond.

“These emerging leaders, like missionaries in their own context, have the potential to be changemakers,” said Dr. Shariat. “Many in this growing community are young Millennials and Gen Z, eager to blend their faith with a strong desire to move their nation forward. Their new hope goes beyond the limits that once held back their dreams.”

Through the dedicated efforts of organizations like Iran Alive Ministries, the gospel can be presented to them in a way that is relevant to their lives and their struggles. Gifts received through the “Empower the Legacy” campaign will help to:

·      Expand outreach initiatives through relevant content production, including short films for social media, satellite television channel, Shabakeh 7 and the 4:12 Discipleship Training School.

·      Create access to mentorship programs, educational resources and youth-focused events for several thousands of Iranian children, teenagers and young adults.

·      Train local believers to carry on the faith and disciple-making movement into the next generation and beyond.

“With the support of the body of Christ, we have the power to make an extraordinary impact on the next generation, shaping the trajectory of Iran for generations to come,” said Dr. Shariat. “Together, we can inspire and empower the youth of Iran, unlocking their unlimited potential and forging a new path towards a brighter future.”
