Mike Noriega Inspires Readers with New Book ‘Uncollapsable Soul’ on the Importance of Healing from Tragedies
WHAT: In light of National Grief Awareness Day on August 30, Mike Noriega, who has recently authored, “Uncollapsable Soul: How Do You Endure a Broken Heart without Crushing Your Spirit?” is available to speak into the practical power of hope amidst tragedy and grief. Noriega lost his grandmother in the Surfside Condo Collapse in 2021 and details his experience in the new book.
About 2.5 million people die in the United States annually, each leaving an average of five grieving people behind. No one is left unaffected by the grief of losing a loved one.
“There is not a right or wrong way to grieve, but there is a component that is necessary in the healing process: hope,” said Noriega. “We are seeing unprecedented levels of mental health issues, anxiety and depression and not being able to cope with grief is a factor. I believe it is possible to suffer tremendous loss without it breaking and crushing your spirit.”
In the book, he details the stories of victims affected by this heart-breaking tragedy, including his own. Inspired by his grandmother’s faith, Noriega shares with his readers how he has navigated grief and maintained hope amid trauma.
